The high-end control technology of the Lorch S-RoboMIG XT series provides a signal from a plethora of information to be evaluated by the robot controller for standard and pulsed arc processes alike. This weld seam detection and seam tracking functions enable the robot to constantly and automatically adapt the torch guidance to actual work piece conditions. The signal provided can be used for vertical and horizontal adjustment of the torch guidance.
